One Tree Planted is an environmental charity on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees!

I care deeply about the planet, and when I started Divine Remedy Healing, it was incredibly important for me to create a business that gives back to nature. Anyone that knows me, knows I’m a huge tree lover. Over the years I come across (or been led to) some incredible trees with infinite wisdom and power. I’m mesmerized by their ability to heal and just being next one is probably my favourite part of the day.

That’s why I am absolutely ecstatic to share that I’ve partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every item sold. For every session, product, event or workshop ticket sold, I will plant one tree!

WHY WE NEED TREES

Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, help ground & balance us, and create jobs for social impact. They are the lungs of the Earth & help the planet breathe by turning carbon dioxide into clean, pure oxygen. Trees and forests around the world also act like the planet's air conditioning system and keep the planet cool. I am honored to have reforestation through One Tree Planted as an integral part of my business mode.

One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. They plant trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like mine a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.

TREES AND PLANTS ARE BEING BURNED, DEGRADED AND LOGGED AT ASTONISHING RATES. 46% of the world's forests are already destroyed.
Every 1.2 seconds man destroys an area of forest the size of a football field.
1.6 billion people rely on forests for their livelihoods.
Forests provide jobs for more than 13 million people across the world
Forests provide habitats to diverse animal species. They are home to 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity, and they also form the source of livelihood for many different human settlements, including 60 million indigenous people.
It is estimated that within 100 years there will be no rainforests.
20% of the world’s oxygen is produced in the Amazon forest.
Up to 28,000 species are expected to become extinct by the next quarter of the century due to deforestation.
Half of the world’s tropical forests has already been cleared.

The impacts of deforestation are astonishing. The most dramatic impact is a loss of habitat for millions of species. Seventy percent of Earth’s land animals and plants live in forests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes. Tropical rainforests which cover 6-7% of the earth’s surface, contain over half of all the plant and animal species in the world.
